"Islam in the Balkans - Unexpired Hope"

Turkish government initiated and organized the conference titled "Islam in the Balkans -- Unexpired Hope", which has been held on June 23rd 2016. Professor Miroljub Jevtic has presented his research "Islam as a Factor of Political Identity in Former Yugoslavia". His paper has been published in the fourth volume of collected works, out of five, which has been prepared for this conference. Only ten authors has been elected for oral presentation and Prof. Jevtic was one of them. He gave a lecture in a first session, right after Dr Aleksander Meksi, first Albanian president in the multiparty government.
