Author Guidelines

The Politics and Religion Journal is first world-wide peer–reviewed academic journal to publish original scholarly articles focusing on the relation between religion and politics. Besides, PRJ also publishes book reviews related to the subject of ”politology of religion” and other similar disciplines, as well as academic critical views and scholarly polemics. The Politics and Religion now accepts only electronic submissions via OJS system. You can also submit your work on the following E-mail address: politikologijareligije@yahoo.com. There is no submission fee or publishing fee.

Complete submission includes several documents:

1. Main Document – Anonymous

Submit a separate file containing the main document. Please omit name(s) of author(s) elsewhere in the manuscript, except when citing previous work. Self-citations should always be done in third person. The journal will review all manuscripts for anonymity and may make changes if necessary. Manuscripts needing substantial changes will be returned to the authors.

2. Title Page
Submit a title page containing the following information: 1. Title, 2. Abstract and keywords, 3. Acknowledgments  and 4. Author's information (current affiliation and position).

3. Author's short bio
Submit a short bio of 3-4 lines, including areas of expertise and recent relevant publications.

4. Signed author's statement

Politics and Religion Journal does not accept manuscripts that are under review elsewhere, previously published, or already committed for publication. All manuscripts are going to be checked for plagiarism prior to the review process. Submitted manuscripts are to be reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers in a double-blind peer review process. This process usually lasts between 2 and 4 months. The Editorial Board gives priority to the submissions written in English. The peer review process will start only if the submitted manuscript is formated and written according to our instructions for contributors.
