As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Libreoffice, OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is 1.5 spaced; uses a 12-point font; Times New Roman, employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. Font Size in footnotes should be 11.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission does it constitute plagiarism or autoplagiarism
  • Submitted manuscripts should not be longer than 30 pages (10000 words) neither shorter than 16 pages (5000 words).
  • Page size should be standard A4 format.
  • Line spacing should be 1,5 lines.
  • Abstracts in English should have no more than 200 words.
  • Abstract should be followed by 5 to 6 key words.
  • Footnotes are preferred over endnotes.
  • Separate list of references should be given at the end of manuscript. Items in the list of references are to be same as quotations in footnotes but without page references.

The Politics and Religion Journal is first world-wide peer–reviewed academic journal which provide original scholarly articles focusing on relations between religion and politics. Besides, it publishes reviews of the books related to the subject of ”politology of religion” and other similar disciplines, as well as academic critical views and scholarly polemics. The Politics and Religion now accepts only electronic submissions on following E mail address: politikologijareligije@yahoo.com or through this system by registering as authopr and submitting article in submission process in this system.


Politics and Religion Journal does not accept manuscripts for review that are under review elsewhere, previously published, or already committed for publication. Manuscripts are going to be checked for plagiarism prior to review process. Submitted manuscripts are to be reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers. The process of evaluation usually lasts between 2 and 4 months. The Editorial Board gives priority to submissions written in English language. The very process of evaluation of submissions would start if authors will respect and confirm by checking appropriate checkboxes as mentioned in the checklist below.


 


Form of citations


1. Books: Author (Family name and First name), Title of Book (italic), Publisher of Book, Place of Publication, Year of Publication, page(s).
For example: Weber Max, The religion of China: Confucianism and Taoism, The Free Press, New York, 1959, p. 5 (or pp. 5–7).


If book has several editions, the number of respective edition is to be placed after the publisher.
If footnote is quoted, after page’s number fn and number of footnote are to be placed. If book of several authors is quoted, their names are to be separated by comma. If book or article of more than three authors is quoted, only the Family name and First name of first author are to be mentioned followed by abbreviation et alia (et al.) in Italic form. For example: Rex, John et al.



2. Article in Collections: Author (Family name and First name), Title of Article, Title of Book (italic), Publisher, Place of Publication, Year of Publication, page(s).
For example: Samardzic Radovan, Aristocratic Vertical in Serbian History, in: Serbs in European Civilization, Samardzic Radovan & Duskov Milan (eds.), Nova & Serbian Academy of Art and Sciences, Institute for Balkan Studies, Belgrade, 1993, pp. 233–258.

If the title of journal is too long, in first citation of that journal its abbreviation is to be quoted in brackets in order to be used in subsequent citations. For example: Politics and Religion journal(PRJ)

8. Short biography of author should be attached to submitted manuscript, as well adddress of the institution in which he works or lecture, his academic title, Internet site of institution, relevant E mail addresses, postal address (separate page).
